Sharkey's Cuts For Kids - Burlington ON

My daughter is ASD and is terrified of getting her hair cut. Previous experiences have included both parents in hand to hold her, once there were 4 of us holding her this was at a Melon ahead that we drive all the way to Mississauga for. ImTook her to Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in Burlington and it was like she had never been afraid of getting her hair cut before. The set up is like a toy store with toys and candies in display so I think that confused her. I let the owners know about my concerns. They had no issues. They asked my daughter to chose a seat (toy Jeep) to sit in and the owners turned on the tv to Paw Patrol ( after asking her what shoes she liked). She sat there smiling throughout the cutting experience even when the hair dryer came out. At the end of it she proclaimed that her hair cut was awesome as were her two new awesome friends. Costs more than a child’s hair cut at an all ages salon chain but for us it was worth it.

Took my daughter for her first hair cut here. Staff was amazing and knew what they were doing. Great place for a special moment like that and every one after.

Great place to get kids haircuts. Not only good haircuts but great attitude from the staff and owner that go beyond expectation to accommodate any quirks from kids and parents alike. We have been going here for a while and the kids always look forward to get their haircut here. There is lots of entertainment to keep the kids busy and it's definitely worth it over other haircutting places out there.

My kids love this salon. Such a great experience for them here and totally reasonable. The staff are great
