Thistle Fish & Chips

Good fish and chips and a pleasant dining experience. Haddock and Chips seems to be the trademark here. The fish is done with a very light batter but lacks a fully coating - the fries are fresh and decent but need a less saggy taste. Putting the fish directly on-top of the fries seems to alter the taste. Staff is wonderful! A little expensive.

Food was great! Service was good. Restaurant was clean and no wait at lunch time.

Relatively small dining area but offers take out. Delicious traditional fish and chips. Very patient staff given some of their more demanding customers on Good Friday. Appreciated that they used larger take out container for meals so it could be served family style at home.

We had fish and chips, my husband for the first time. He was shocked at how huge the portions are. Amazing quality of fish! Great fries even. Stuffed afterward. And on top of that outstanding service, Shawn was incredible!

It is really good fish and chips and the mushroom pie and gravy is amazing. I get the pie pretty much every time i got there. I only go for pick up & take away, but every time I call ahead or just go they are very nice & helpful so very good service.
