I barely write any reviews on Google but I can’t say enough good things about katerina! She is a fantastic teacher. She is patient, encouraging, and works very hard with a various education method to maximize the result and helps kids to love music. Katerina is the best piano teacher I’ve ever met. My child really enjoys her class.
As a piano player more than 20 years, I even started having piano lesson from her now and her lesson is just beautiful. I’ve never learned all the details of the music pieces like this before. She is just such an amazing musician!
Thank you soooo much Katerina! I feel really lucky we met you :)
My 6yo daughter loves her lessons. We are taking lessons for a year and daughter is engaged, making amazing progress and enjoys it!
Mrs.Kateryna is an amazing teacher. she has great teaching skills. she is very sensible and friendly with the kids while teaching. she uses so many different techniques to teach tempo, rythm of songs. i think her classes tailor made depending on each student . that explains her depth of knowledge in music and smart teaching techniques. Now my son enjoys his piano classes and playing piano at home
We've had a wonderful experience with Piano Magic. Our 8-year-old son loves his lessons with Katerina and has made amazing progress. More importantly (to us), he is learning to love music and use it as a way to express himself creatively. Katerina's approach is exactly what I was looking for - a good balance between creativity and technique. I'm so glad we found her!
My son has been taking music group lessons with Katerina for almost a year now. He was four years old when he started. We’ve been coming to Piano Magic Studio once a week, sometimes even twice. Twice at times, because he liked it so much! (The reason for keeping it once a week was due to my busy schedule.) The lessons are fun, educational, well thought-through. I know it because Katerina sends a short outline, sometimes with a photo or two, of what was done, what are the new concepts that were introduced, how much my son has progressed and what he enjoyed doing the most during the lesson. Katerina is an attentive, experienced professional, simultaneously gentle and energetic, a mother herself, and certainly knows how to guide a misbehaving child back to learning mode.
I feel lucky that we have found Katerina and her Piano Magic Studio! Her approach in structuring the lesson is based on combination of various methods, including Dalcroze and Orff, singing, dancing, games, expressing emotions while listening to the masterpieces of great classical composers, moving to the music, use of drums and lots of other musical instruments, as well non-music items such as scarves, hats, balls, etc. The music lessons teach a child to listen, feel, process the information, express himself or herself, build character, and develop the ability to share the ideas. Whether you plan or not on your child learning how to play a musical instrument, or join a choir, or work in a group, or even if there is no intention to pursue musical studies, Katerina’s lessons are a great way to teach child how to listen. And a great start to introduce some music basics to your child. As a bonus, and maybe even the most important part, my son has found friends! And he has invited them to his birthday party:). I would highly recommend Katerina’s Piano Magic Studio!
