Blynda Dacosta Photography

From the moment we met Blynda, we knew she would be the perfect fit for our engagement and wedding photos. At our first meeting, Blynda was professional, fun and energetic as she was going through the different packages available. My husband had a number of technical questions for Blynda as he has a passion for photography as well and he was impressed by her.

Our engagement photos were taken in October 2017 at two locations close to Niagara. Throughout the session, Blynda made us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. We were always laughing and felt natural during the session, which is evident in the photos.

Leading up to the wedding Blynda gave us a tip sheet and questionnaire which allowed us to identify the specific photos we wanted for the wedding. If we had any questions, Blynda was very quick to respond via email or phone call.

On the day of the wedding (June 23, 2018) both Blynda and Emily exceeded our expectations. They were both on time and professional throughout the day. The weather on the day of the wedding was not ideal as it was raining in the morning and remained damp in the afternoon when we were taking our photos outdoors. One thing that really impressed me about Blynda was her preparedness on the day as she brought a large bag to place on the ground to ensure that my long train wouldn't get dirty as a result of the earlier rain.

We just received our sneak peak/teaser photos and so far they turned out better than we could've ever imagined! My husband and I cannot wait to see the rest of the photos!

Married on June 16th, 2018

We were recommended Blynda by my best man+wife as they worked with her previously in the past and did not regret a thing. We did our engagement and wedding photos through her and worked with her assistant Emily in tandem on our wedding day to capture all the key moments. Both did amazing jobs!

Blynda was a pleasure to work with since day 1 as she walked us through the whole process from the different options that she offered, to the complete cost which was very reasonable compared to other vendors when we did our research. She was very open, friendly, and easy to communicate with, verbally and electronically, while answering all our questions and providing us sound advice during our planning stages.

In terms of the quality of her photos, her work is very professional and clean. She has a special photographers eye that you look for (pun intended) when wanting to capture those soft, beautiful, and tender moments.

Blynda and Emily captured our wedding on June 2nd, 2018. They were both a pleasure to work with. Throughout the craziness of the day, they somehow managed to get all the shots we wanted and much more! Seeing the final product allowed us to re-live the wedding day in such a beautiful and artful way. We are so happy we chose Blynda to photograph our wedding!!

There are no words to express our gratitude for Blynda, she was so great from the very first time we met! She understood that we had already taken our engagement pictures in Hawaii prior to meeting her and agreed that we could save our ‘engagement photo session’ with her another time that’s best for us! On our wedding day, it was cloudy and cold but Blynda + team powered through it all with not one single complaint! I had such a huge list for all my ‘must have’ photos – while Blynda said it was ambitious, on the day of - she did it all! ON TIME! At one point we were running late (cause my groom was running late) and she caught up once again and took all the photos that needed to be taken and the ‘sneak peek’ photos all turned out FABULOUS! Blynda, thank you very much for everything – you are not only such an amazing photographer but you have such a kind heart and soul! I can’t wait to see all the photos! From our first meeting my husband and I felt confident that Blynda was the right photographer for us. She was always available and accessible, which made us feel very at ease in the mayhem of wedding planning.
