We contracted Cerelli farms to install a tree in the back yard that would become the focal point of our "oasis". Micheal at Cellini farms was very professional from the outset and helped us select the best tree variety for the application. His selection of trees was outstanding. When we compared quotes it was virtually impossible to find anyone that had the species (Montgomery Spruce) we chose at the size we needed. Trees of less size --if you could find them were priced comparable or even more than Cerelli's. Special care was required to ensure the tree did not bud before installation becuase of the time of year it was being transplanted. Due to its size we were concerned that he would not be able to get it around the house. Micheal made a special effort to come to the property and scope out the entry and exit points and the suitability of the tree location with the variety that we chose. The tree was installed with an incredible amount of care. Special mats where placed on the lawn to ensure the 10 tone fork lift tracks would not damage the lawn. The location was prepared with the utmost care precision requiring 1 leg of an irrigation system to be gently lifted from the ground where the tree was to be planted and set aside. The tree as transported to the location in spite of very confined space along the route. I was incredibly impressed with his attention to detail, care and neatness. During the inspection visit the Cerelli team noticed an issue with our existing trees. The person that installed some 12 large trees, many years ago, had neglected to remove nylon ties that hold the rootball. As the trees grew these were slicing into the bark which, left unchecked would have caused these tree to die costing considerable money. After Micheal finished installing the tree we bought , he had his team dig around the trucks of every tree to a significant depth and gently extract he ties so avoid tearing the bark. The entire project took over 4 hours and the property was left immaculate. We have used many landscapers over the years you will not find better than Cerelli Farms at any price.
