Great views
A park. Not exciting.
This area is a Hidden Gem in Oakville. In addition to the Scenic Harbor, there is actually a Sandy Beach! I had an art show at Sovereign house, and when visiting there and enjoying the history of the house, I learned that the author of "The White Oaks of Jalna" lived here at some point and the people of Oakville played a role in her writings. It is a beautiful neighborhood and enjoyable to just walk around and look at the pretty Homes and Gardens as well as the parks surrounding the house, which overlooks the harbor and Beach. Here's a little tip: you can park for free by Sovereign house and then hike down a path to the beach if you don't want to pay for parking that's close by the beach.
Great place to take in the scenery and just relax in the sun or sit under a tree in the shade. I have lived in Oakville for my whole life and the bluffs is one place that always puts me in s relaxing mood. Good place for the whole family and or cast a fishing rod with a friend, or even to skip a few rocks. ????????????????
Nice hidden spots to explore, relatively small, great for a day on the beach for families, fun picnic with friends or couples or a stroll near the water. Has a decent sandy beach. Not much to eat or drink there so bring stuff with you:)
