This review is based on the Maple syrup Festival held at Bronte Creek each year. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The paths were all mostly cleared for walking.

I like the park for mountain biking. I mainly ride on the east side of the park (Oakville side) from the campground area. I am getting annoyed with the number of dogs who are running leash free but are not trained to do so properly. I always slow down when approaching people on foot but I still run into problems. Today I came across a Mother and son walking their Lab and German Shepard. I saw them in advance and turned down a parallel path to avoid them but the dogs cut through the bush and came at me snarling. I stopped the bike immediately and stayed still until the dogs turned back due to the calls of their owners (who did not apologize). This is one example but it happens regularly. Other people have very well behaved dogs who stay at the side of their owner or don’t even bother with me as I pass. If you can’t control your dog, keep it on the leash.

This is a nice little park with easy to do trails for everyone. Fall colours are nicely visible given the right timing. Great for a simple day trip from Toronto. There's plenty of parking and picnic spots as well and the trail maps they provide are very useful.
