Church's Texas Chicken formerly known Church's Chicken

Went out to go eat yesterday with a group of 6. There was a great discrepancy in how much our chicken and fries were cooked. Some orders were golden and nicely fried. Other orders didn’t even get there and were very lightly fried. Got two batches of fries completely different.. seems to be no consistency in the frying. Same situation with chicken tenders and chicken. Double check your bill as I got overcharged $20 and had to recheck/ resolve the matter. Staff handled it well. Looks like this location opened very recently.

It was my first time to try Church’s chicken and I loved it! Definitely will go back and recommend the fried chicken which will surely satisfy your cravings! Chicken pieces aren’t oily but rather they are crispy, tender and moist! I tried both the spicy and regular and it was seasoned perfectly. The honey biscuits are to die for!!! My whole family loved them. The staff is super helpful, they greeted in a friendly manner and introduced the menu items. You can definitely taste the great quality of the food here compared to any other fried chicken places, I can't wait to go back for more! Definitely check this place out when you are looking for halal fried chicken!

Summary: chicken tastes good. Claims halal please do your own check. Price a bit on the higher end. Worth a visit from time to time.

The food:

- The chicken mexicana sandwich was spicy. To my taste it was not. However, the chicken & bun was good. Bun to chicken ratio is very decent. Crispy taste is good. The odd choice is the bits of onion. Now I am all for onions in my sandwich but bits of it. It falls right off & the lettuce as well. Who though that was a genius idea??

-The fries were cold, not crisp, need some work there.

- the honey butter biscuit: very good

- the chicken wrap: very good.

- the chicken thigh: very good. Juicy ( a bit oil but then this is fried chicken) crisp, tasty, large enough pieces, very nice.

In store dining: yes. Place is new and very clean

Amazing food! My whole family ate here, kids love the chicken pieces. I love there spicy chicken it was very crispy, fresh, and well cooked! We also had there onion fries and jalapeno bomber (yummy)…And there honey- butter biscuits are to die for! I would highly recommend this place very clean and friendly! :)

We in family had a chance of dining-in at this location on, this week. The environment is perfect. The spicy chicken, coleslaw, hot mashed potato, onion rings, sweet biscuit like thing with butter and honey taste with an orange drink. I enjoyed everything. My family also enjoyed a chicken wrap along with other things. We brought some food home as well as my kids liked.
