after a poor experience with a local window installer in the same week, this was refreshing. service was good and very knowledgeable about all products in-store. Both installers 1. Showed up in a Distinctive Fires van, so I knew they weren't subcontractors. Technicians were on time, courteous to my wife, used not just drop sheets but RUNNING MATS everywhere, ran the gas line parallel to furnace ventilation so I won't have to reroute gas when I finish the basement, were very polite, technical, professional, easy going, and walked us through the operation of the unit before cleaning up and leaving. They even had my wife call me at work to run some things by me before proceeding with some of their work.
As owner/operator of a similar business, I'm very particular and critical of workmanship. This is exactly what I expect when I pay for a service. Distinctive Fires will definitely be on my bid list for my next gas appliance.

Having bought an older house in Oakville Ontario we needed to renovate and we started with a modern gas fireplace insert which was installed and operational in less than 2 days time!
