Gary's Automotive

I went to Gary's Automotive today for the first time to get a drive clean test done. I chose their shop because of all the great reviews and I gotta tell ya as soon as I walked in I believed all those great reviews. The place was immaculate and the reception was like no other garage that I had been to. I felt very confident that this is a good shop to have work done and it will be the place I go if I need something fixed. That is saying a lot when I was there only 10 or 15 minutes. So, like Arnold would say, I'll be back.

These guys are excellent trustworthy mechanics. Experienced with new and classic cars. I highly recommend them.

I live in Burlington but make the trek to Oakville to see these guys. I recently made my first vehicle purchase and was recommended to Gary's by the APA for a PPI. I've been back to them since (checking repairs and for servicing) and will continue to see them as long as I'm living in the area. They are honest, go out of their way to help, and are committed to quality. The father-son team (Gary and Austin respectively) is very personable and they take the time to address any questions or concerns I may have. Quality, honesty, and dependability are key terms I'd want to describe anyone looking after my vehicle - that's Gary's.

This is my first time writing a review for any service yet alone an automotive shop. I take very good care of my vehicles and am picky with who I entrust to work on them. After growing tired (and leery) of dealership service, we brought our vehicle to Gary's after reading all the favourable on-line reviews. I was not disappointed. They typically have loaner vehicles but they were all out so Austin gave me a ride to work. Austin called me 45 minutes later and clearly explained the issue with my vehicle's brakes, what was required, and an exact price. He also quoted me a fair price on replacement tires. When I returned to the shop, not only was the work completed but my vehicle had been cleaned inside and out. Austin even took the time to fill out a tire rebate card AND a tire warranty card as he felt my original tires failed prematurely. Not sure what the result will be with the warranty but clearly this service was above and beyond what I expected. Needless to say, I will be back for all my automotive needs. Thanks to Gary, Austin and all the dedicated staff.
