It was an awesome adjustment on Monday. I've had two chronic issues for the last 6-7 years which I had never considered could be related to my chiro care. Both my big toes have been in a lot of pain for a number of years to the point that blankets caused discomfort. Second was a sinus and cough issue which thinking back started around the same time as the toes. My doctor had no answer for sinus and cough issue, it remained after a winter cold. I was literally on Monday going to request a referral to a foot specialist. During my adjustment with Dr Davis I experienced a release of pressure throughout my entire body, breathing became easier, clearer. The sensation was so strong that my body was actually trying to make me cry. The end result is no painful toes and the sinus and cough issue is gone. My message is for all patients to share with your Doctor anything odd going on with your body and don't just focus on neck and back issues because our nervous system controls everything. I am so happy I found Dr. Davis! He knew from the beginning that I would be leaving in a few months time, but still did everything he could to help me heal. In this short time with him, my posture has improved a great deal. He has also equipped me with valuable knowledge and awareness regarding my own body so that I can continue to take care of myself. It's hard to describe Dr Davis with one word or with one phrase. As his patient, what struck me first about him was his bedside manner. There are many people who provide services that are courteous, kind and friendly which you expect. The difference I have found with Dr. Davis is that he doesn't just hear what you are saying he listens and he genuinely is concerned and cares about your wellbeing.
He has made me understand that he does not/cannot give a quick fix to being well and it is a journey that I have to take in order to be the best version of myself and that he is there on the journey.
But he is not alone, the entire chiropractic first team is what I call “chiropractic first class” from when you walk through the door to when you leave. Its funny, are you supposed to look forward to going to the doctor? In this case I do.
