An absolute gem in the heart of Kerr Village, in Oakville. Not only the food is absolutely delicious, it's fresh home cooked meal. The lady who runs this place is super kind and friendly. This is a combo of restaurant and mini convenience store. Customer service is amazing. Will definitely go back for more.
I wasn't sure what to expect as I ordered from an app called Too Good To Go, which saves extra food from getting thrown out. But let me tell you, it was AMAZING. Truly delicious. The restaurant doubles as a grocery store for authentic Filipino food and it was just so warm and inviting. The person who gave me my food was very sweet and listened to me talk about how excited I was to try the food and how I follow this Fillipino YouTuber who always makes these fantastic looking Filipino dishes. So I got this bread called Pan de Sal, noodles, this fingerlicking pork, fried Tofu and veggies. Everything was simply superb. 10/10 would recommend. And she did not skim on the portions considering how much it cost me, since the food is at a reduced price.
First time coming here. I ordered 1 combo dish. Menudo with rice and Halo Halo for dessert. The menudo is very delicious. Not sure how they cook the pork whether it's fried first but love the toasted taste in the fatty side of the meat. Halox2 was good, not too sweet. As you can see in the picture. Very generous in portion too. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back again.
My mom and I went here to eat some good Filipino food and the price are very affordable compare to others. 2 main dish with rice were $10 each. They also have groceries. Raquel and Rochelle was so welcoming and genuinely nice!
Halo-Halo is the best!
Randomly stumbled on this place as it’s a bit off the Main Street next to a barber shop. Ordered the two main dish combo and a pork noodle type dish. Wasn’t sure what to expect as don’t have a lot of experience with Filipino food but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the seafood. Only minor complaint is a bit light handed in scooping the two main dishes for the combo to go with the large portion of rice, but the food tasted like a super good home cooked meal. Chicken was moist with a tomato and cheese like sauce, would have loved more sauce to go with the rice. The seafood was steller as was fresh out of oven when I got there, but again would have loved more of that sauce to go with the rice, maybe just something I have to ask for next time. The pork noodle itself was surprisingly good as didn’t know what to expect , was like a saucy spaghetti like fried noodle with fried pork bits, can’t make out the flavor, but was not disappointed. Forgot ask the names of the dishes but highly recommended for the price as Filipino restaurants are far and few around
