Oakville Taekwondo Academy

Oakville Taekwondo is a family run class that manages to strike the perfect balance of a strict, disciplined environment while still being fun, supportive, encouraging and nurturing when required; My kids enjoy the class a lot. This is the 2nd Taekwondo school that my family tried and after the first class we knew that we hit the jackpot.

Master Lo is a great instructor and is very passionate about his craft. He and Mrs. Lo are committed to bringing the best out of each student by focusing not just on martial arts skills but also on building strong individuals with a sense of reposnibility and community commitment

Crying kids either during or may be after the class, this is what is happening sometimes for the beginners. This is true and I saw this myself. However I saw as well that the same kids who was crying before but decided to not stop coming to the school after first one month in few months do not cry anymore. Then several months later same kids was able to demonstrate good focus and technique. This is the school that teaches all kids to be stronger in a mental and physical way. There will be situations in your kids life (outside the Taekwondo school) when that will be close to start crying. I am pretty sure the former students of this school when they are older will be able to stand most of these tough situations in their life. If you really love your child, then push him/her a little and bring to the school and then support your child, the school will make them strong even if they cry at the beginning. This strength will then stay with your child for the whole life.
