Magnus Resources - Nanny Referral Services

Radora is wonderful. Caring. Approachable. And helps however she can! Yes the process was long but some of that has to do with govt red tape. I’ve had my nanny for almost 2 years now and love her. My kids love her.

We needed a nanny and were given Rhodora's information via a neighbour. We were uncertain about hiring a foreign worker however she took several meeting with us to answer our questions, review the process, and give us the information we needed to make a decision. She never rushed us and often spent extra time after the meeting talking to our daughter and making small talk - it was not all about business. I'm really not sure where some of the previous comments have come from, they are entirely from left field.

It took a bit longer than 6 months to get our nanny here and that was the government's fault with a problem with my credit card expiry date. She did all of the paperwork, booked the flight, organized housing, and everything worked out.

We are so incredibly happy with our nanny. Rhodora gave us only 3-4 applicants and I was worried that we wouldn't have much choice but she was right - having too many choices sometimes can be harder and confusing. She picked candidates that she felt would work best with our family situation. Our nanny is perfect for us. She fits in well with our personalities and lifestyle. We've only had her with us for 1.5 months and any of my worries about having someone that didn't work well with our family have completely gone away. She works HARD and we try our best to make sure she is treated fairly and appreciated. We have a great situation. Our nanny appears to be very happy as well as she has Rhodora and a great Filipino 'family' here - they have frequent get-togethers and social activities.

Now after using Magnus and Rhodora - I would NEVER have wanted to try to find someone and go through the process by myself. The cost she charges is fair for the amount of work she does and for the peace of mind that all will be ok. I have recommended Rhodora to others looking for nanny services. Keep in mind if you want to hire someone quickly this is not the process to use as you need at least 6 months to sponsor someone. If you want someone ASAP she has contacts here already in Ontario but the hourly wage will be higher.
