I'm the Manager of Strategic Initiatives at United Way Halton & Hamilton and I help manage the organization's ConnectEd program which provides affordable professional development to non-profit agencies. Karen facilitated a great "Blog Like a Boss" workshop this month and was a pleasure to work with. We brought Karen in to work with our team in planning a social media/networking conference for colleagues that work at Colleges/Universities across Ontario & Quebec.
Karen was a massive contributor to our Conference's success. She kicked off the first day with a keynote address, delivered a social media workshop and also served as moderator for our "Networking for your Business" discussion.
Karen was fantastic at all stages of the Conference including throughout the planning process. She was responsive, creative, open to our ideas/input, and connected us with great people in her network. She was also around to chat with colleagues during the 'social' times, and it was a great bonus to pick her brain outside of a formal conference setting.

I thought blogging was dead, in the Coaching and Consulting field anyway. But after attending the Blog Like A Boss workshop, I have a renewed and refreshed knowledge for blogging and was super inspired that I got my next 5 blog topics before the workshop was done! Karen also provides us with lots of tools and resources to get our blogs up and running, or in my case, restarted! I would recommend this workshop if you’re just starting to blog or already have one set up.

Karen is a patient and knowledgeable social media coach. Working with her has made me a much more confident social media marketer for my own small biz, and the level of engagement on my platforms has increased noticeably since engaging Karen's help. Such a pleasure to work with a person who I can tell really cares about my business. Highly recommend.

I worked with Karen as a blog coach. I loved our work together. She was extremely organized, came to every meeting totally prepared and after the meeting she'd send a round up of what we talked about. During our work together I made a lot of progress on my blog and felt much more informed on how to run a successful blog!
