I was a recent client of the Morrison Williams law firm which specializes in Family Law matters. Having consulted with other Law Firms which deal in the same field of practice, I elected to go with Morrison Williams.
Rachel Williams was my lawyer and she represented me throughout the entire process I was engaged in.
This young professional was candid with her advice and honest with respect to my chances of achieving my objectives from the outset - this lady knows her Family Law, and she was truly a pleasure to deal with !!! .... and, she's outstanding at "holding her ground" before a Family Court Judge [in my situation a Motion Hearing and Case Conference]. I ultimately achieved a much better settlement than expected, without having to go to trial.
This Law Firm charges a far more reasonable rate than some of the other lawyers out there, some of whom will tell you anything you want to hear simply to get your business [and likely take you to the cleaners].
Do yourself a huge favour - if you're going through a separation or divorce, reach out to Rachel for a consultation .... I'm confident you won't regret it !!
By the way, Amanda is a Law Clerk for the Law Firm, and was great to deal with as well. She'll arrange your appointments and/or phone calls with Rachel, and keep you apprised of all matters that may arise.
Good luck in your quest for happiness moving forward.
I was fortunate to find Andrew through a referral for my divorce. Very straight forward lawyer with clear points, explained all in detail to my situation. First, I did not understand many legal terms but Andrew was very patient to explain until I understood all the conditions. Still for most parts I had to leave Andrew in-charge in trust to take care until my matter was fully resolved.
His legal fees are also very reasonable. I received hour free consultation which he explained upfront (or at-least approx.) so I knew my financial obligations. However, I had delays due to incomplete work done by the other party. At the end of the day, I am happy that I am secured, not have to worry about this problem going forward.
Andrew worked tirelessly on my difficult separation over 4 years. Very pleased with his service and the outcome he negotiated for me. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a quality family lawyer.
He understands that it’s a trying time in one’s life, things can sometimes be overwhelming and it’s very easy to get off track. Andrew keeps you focused and moving forward.
I worked with Rachel 6 months ago and very happy with her service ...she takes any matter very seriously and get on top of everything..working with her was peace of mind which i could not find with other lawyers ...the best thing about her is she is not greedy at all like a lot of others where you get scared of them.
I will recommend her very strongly to all those people who wants some sincere and loyal lawyer.
I have worked with Rachel Williams on my separation case and would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, but very approachable legal counsel for any family law matter. Rachel guided me through each and every step of the process, helped to understand what are my rights and obligations, consulted on what particular things I could choose to give in, in the process of negotiations with my ex-spouse and what I should not. I am not sure how familiar Rachel with the courts and family law judges of GTA (as my case did not have to go to court), but I know she was spending quite a bit of time in court hearings. I could also say, based on my experience, that Rachel was always very responsive and available; she was realistic in providing an estimate of what my case would cost me. I felt like she was genuinely motivated to finish my case in my best interest, while at the same time, doing her best to avoid going to court.
