Oakdale Park Trailhead

The trail runs along side Munns Creek and spans between Miller road and Culham street. It changes back and forth between dirt and asphalt walk ways. The trail also has crossings on Oakdale Dr and McCraney St W. The main Portion of the Park lies between McCeaney St and Culham St. and includes a large open field with Swings and a Playground set with slides and areas for kids to climb and play. It is a great green area to keep kids occupied and to be one with nature. It has the usual creatures found in wooded areas including Squires, Rabbits, Raccoons, Possums, Skunks and Fox as well as a large variety of trees, plants and shrubs. It's a nice area with in the city limits
The trail entrances are easily accessible for strollers and bikes except for the Miller St entrance which has s 2 tier stairway. The trail also crosses 2 bridges.

The trail and park are a nice green space but the areas around the creek have a fair amount of erosion as well as wear and tear from people walking along the bank.
