Revera Churchill Place Retirement Residence

I just wanted to post a review of the wonderful place my Dad calls home. He has been a resident there since July 2013 and as my Dad grows older and things change for him, ( age 91) the caring and competent staff of caregivers continue to meet his every need. He is treated with respect and kindness and always greeted with a friendly smile. I love how Churchill Place treats the residents as adults - offering stimulating programs and talks, entertainment, out trips including lunches at different venues, shopping trips etc etc..... and, my Dad's favourite, a daily " Happy Hour " to socialize with fellow residents.

So grateful to the team at Churchill Place. My aunt chose to recover from hip surgery here rather at home to avoid stairs and have additional support in those first days after surgery. Staff and residents were welcoming, director of care Angela answered all questions and made adaptations work. She has returned home after 5 weeks with far more strength and stamina from walking the halls than she would have achieved on her own at home.

We cannot thank Executive staff, Amelia and Cynthia, and support staff at Rivera Churchill Place for their utmost attention and care in accommodating our mother after hospital foot surgery today in their respite care program. Amelia and Cynthia ensured that Mom had the warmest welcome and truly wonderful assisted living care. The food has been home cooked and the nursing care is second to none. We are so very grateful for all you have done and will continue to do. Rivera should be proud of this team at Churchill Place in Oakville. Thank you for making such a difference in the quality of recovery for Mom and for peace of mind for our entire family.
