Me and my husband are complete newbies and are first time parents expecting this summer. We went in yesterday to get a demo on the functionalities of both the uppaBaby Vista and the Nuna Mixx strollers and car seats and Amanda was so helpful and patient. She allowed us to fully go over both, try car seats with adaptors, drive the strollers around the store and test so we could make an informed decision. She never pressured us and always had a smile. Answered all our questions and was so reassuring and never judged any of our questions even if they seemed like basic common sense but she kept saying it was perfectly normal to ask especially if we are first timers. Overall she demonstrated great customer service and we will definitely be back!
I went to the store today for car seat testing and Lorraine was amazing.. Looking forward to meet them again for another car seat testing..
I received a Motorola baby monitor off my Snugglebugz registry. The product ended up being defective right out of the box. Motorola asked me if I could return to the retailer, however, Snugglebugz won't return/exchange electronics regardless if they're defective. Motorola is going to send me a new monitor, but now I'm out the shipping costs.
For some reason, I'm unable to provide a review on the baby monitor on the Snugglebugz website. I've tried twice to leave a review specific to the monitor on the Snugglebugz website so that other customers know that this monitor is junk.
I think it's really surprising that Snugglebugz is being so unaccommodating with returning/exchanging product that has been confirmed to be defective from the manufacturer considering the thousands of dollars worth of Snugglebugz merchandise that was purchased off my registry. It's also really surprising that they'd rather lose the future business of a new mom, the new mom's family, and the new mom's peer group as I would be unlikely to recommend Snugglebugz to anyone looking to create a baby registry and I certainly won't be shopping from them in the future.
Update - Snugglebugz head office worked really hard to find a solution that we were happy with. I was impressed with how quickly they worked with us to handle this issue. I would continue recommend them for the way they’ve dealt with this problem, however, be prepared to call the customer service in the event that the store is unable to help you. I would still caution anyone about purchasing or registering for a baby monitor through Snugglebugz because of the hassle.
Another update - This review started at 1 star (see main problem above), but the way Snugglebugz has dealt with everything has prompted me to swiftly upgrade to 5 stars. I came home to find a gift card from Snugglebugz to compensate for shipping costs that were incurred with sending back the defective baby monitor to Motorola. I'm blown away by how well this company has dealt with my complaint and I'm back to recommending them to everyone I know. I never asked for the gift card and was touched by this completely unexpected gesture. It really put a human touch on a chain-based company.
