Trafalgar Oaks Child Care

We love this daycare! We took the not so scenic route to find our forever home at Trafalgar Oaks which makes us appreciate everything about it all the more.

The facility, the leadership and the quality of staff is just amazing. Our first born continues to thrive here and we are happily planning to enroll our youngest here as well.

Initially I didn't like the idea of my baby spending so much of the day in lower level/basement and delayed my tour of the centre. As soon as I visited the facility and met with Sheila and the staff; I knew this was our place. Every classroom has floor to ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light and a ground level walkout straight to their age appropriate playground. The playground is another thing we loved about this centre; too often parents are faced with having to choose between the facility or the playground; Trafalgar Oaks offers us both and more!

I felt the need to write up a review at this point because I know how parents may be feeling during these times and wanted to share our story in the hopes of calming some nerves. Everyone at the center has earned our love and trust for how they care and educate our child. I honestly didn't think I could appreciate them any more than I already did until COVID hit. Throughout this ever changing situation the centre has done a wonderful job of adapting and creating a safe environment for us to safely have our child reconnect with friends, teachers and his school routine. The centre continues to follow and even go above and beyond to keep themselves, the kids and their families safe.

Trafalgar Oaks staff, we appreciate you more than ever and are so happy to have you as an extension to our parenting. Thank you so much and keep up the great work!

My daughter started at Trafalgar Oaks at 10 months old. Her mother and I where concerned about her being a little young for full-time daycare but the team at Trafalgar Oaks made our little one feel so welcome and at home that our worries were soon laid to rest. From healthy meals, to loving and professional staff, and excellent programming, Trafalgar Oaks far exceeded our expectations of a daycare centre. Our little one loves it and we know that she is in the best possible hands when we are at work. I would give 6 stars if it where an option!

We absolutely love Trafalgar Oaks! Our daughter has been attending for the past 6 months and our experience has been incredible. We had a difficult transition due to separation anxiety but the staff were so supportive and loving that I felt like I was leaving her with family and they were a huge help to me personally as well during that time. Now my daughter absolutely loves it there and I have a hard time getting her to leave at the end of the day to come home. I could not recommend this daycare enough.

I cannot say enough how happy I am with Trafalgar Oaks and their care for my son. I was hesitant to enroll my son in any daycare as he demonstrated a separation anxiety from early age. He began part-time at Trafalgar Oaks and after only 2 weeks, he was happily walking into his class and giving hugs to his teachers and going to play with his new friends. No tears and only smiles! He also naps happily now, which he almost never did before starting at Trafalgar Oaks! Their management, teachers and staff are all truly caring and compassionate people who put both my son and I at ease when he is at this care center. The teachers in his class are a great team, always very happy, friendly, and positive. They also have great communication with each other and with me, a parent. At pick-up time, they always give me updates to my son's progress. I am happy with skills my son is learning including routines for going outside to play, sitting for snack/meals, and the language and music classes offered right in the classroom. Their facilities are safe, have spacious classrooms and outdoor play-yard, and are very clean. A wonderful childcare center!
