We only just found this place this year even though they've been open since the end of last year. Incredible off the strip bargain for breakfast pictured in the post for $4.95. Yes not a typo..$4.95 available until 2pm each day. Such a smart idea and offering. It's refreshing to see a restaraunt offering affordable options for families and fixed income individuals. Kudos. Once here for this deal you'll see how spotless and fresh this location is, see the varied menu with great choices and see the other specials on offer and want to return like us. Breakfast was simple, quick and non greasy. Service was great and our young, lovely waitress from Shanghai so polite. Portions of fish and chips looked healthy and their batter is a light golden crispy affair that we can't wait to try. Suggestion to combine this dining with a movie night as it is adjacent to Niagara's movie theatre or pop into Costco for a little diversion away from the Falls or gambling, just a 7 to 10 minute drive. A little gem of a place.
Really enjoyed this place … except for the clams … don’t bother frozen pieces not great. Ordered halibut meals … and a piece of Cod. Deep fried pickles. Food was good , fish was really good . I asked if it was fresh or farmed , the lady who said she was the owner replied fresh.
I will go back forsure !
Fresh, hot and delicious! The batter is light and crispy and flavourful, tempura-like. Fries are fresh cut and delicious. A concise menu not overly complicated yet a variety of options. Portions are good and a good value. Service was efficient and friendly. I have taken out by pick up on two occasions and ate in once. Both equally prepared and delicious. Will definitely return!
I can honestly say, this is the best fish and chips that I have tasted since coming to Canada(+30 years).
The haddock was flavourful with a light tempura batter, the chips were crisp and tasty, best of all everything was piping hot. This included the tea ( required for a good cup of tea), which had a good Ceylon tea bag.
They also serve wine and beer.
The best is yet to come.... Breakfast
yes, they serve breakfast. Again I found this to be one of the best I have had in a long time. For only $4.95 I had a choice of Bacon(2 strips) cooked the way you like it, sausage, or ham, one egg, toast and hash browns. The hash browns were so delicious, not greasy, but crisp with a dusting of herbs. They have a varied menu for breakfast, with something for everyone's palette.
Service is good, a bit slow when busy, but always friendly. Decor is bright and cheerful, and always clean. As a testament to this review, I have been to this restaurant 9 times in the past few months.
Finally, a decent fish & chips place in Niagara Falls! Nice and clean because it's new. I hope they maintain it. This is our first dine-in after this whole pandemic craze and we absolutely had a positive experience. Staff (Kassandra & Ryan) were very friendly and welcoming although Ryan forgot the table napkins. :) Food is great (fish battered to perfection and salad was fresh), great portion and reasonable price. Will recommend!
