LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services

This is by far the best lifelabs around (portage road) . The facility is clean. The staff are amazing. Mirella is by far the nicest nurse I've had in my 40 years or having to give blood. My son was just diagnosed with type1 diabetes and this nurse made sure that his visits aren't a bad one. She's kind and caring. Made my son want to come back and removed all fears from having to go to the lab. Thanks Mirella. This woman deserves a raise.

I'm pretty sure that some of these comments are related to the location at 5400 Portage (which I have not had good experiences at), not 4256 Portage. I have been coming to this location for a few years now, and Mirella and Julie are very friendly and personable ladies! Never have I ever heard any rudeness or disrespect to any patients. They are always smiling, and obviously love their job. Their comraderie is refreshing!

The lab is beautiful and newly renovated. The other location is very dingy and is in desperate need of a facelift. The $4 parking fee is awful, but that is the building, not the lab.

They do get very busy at times, but there is only two of them, so the wait is to be expected. These girls work their butts off and I will never go anywhere else.

I love coming here, staff are friendly and there is hardly ever much of a wait. I also love that I can get my results online. I read the review about the lady that had to get an extra form but was upset that she had to pay for an item at the pharmacy to get change to get out. The parking has nothing to do with lifelabs! It’s always best to think about things before you speak :)
