Love this market. They are a two min walk from my office. When i can, i stop here for treats after lunch or to buy some groceries on my way home. Nice people run their businesses here
I love this market. A whole section of the street is closed downtown Grimsby. The vibe is amazing. Lots of great food and items to buy from vendors.
Fresh produce, fresh meat, all locally grown and cared for. Eat better and support the Canadian community!
Also has food grilled up to eat, artisanal take aways, music, etc.
Feels nice and tastes great every Thursday night!
A fantastic example of local community coming together. Truly something that should happen in a small town. Come out and see great venders, listen to some live music, tour a fire truck and visit the downtown Grimsby shops! Wonderful people and a fantastic atmosphere. Fun for the whole family (pets included).
A great farmers market. So much to choose from. A great place to bring the family and enjoy dinner while you listen to live music. Ever week brings new features.
**I have noticed a few reviews from angry people who are upset with the market in general and the weekly road closure. This market happens once a week and generates a large amount of foot traffic for the local stores (who choose to stay open). Each week that I attend the market I walk around ALL parking lots and have never found zero parking spaces available. Yes the main street is blocked from 1-8 pm, and people may need to walk 2-3 minutes to the main street. But that aside, I have seen so many new faces and the patios of the local establishments are always FULL with customers enjoying food and drinks.
Supporting local farmers and business within the town has always been a great addition to Grimsby. If you have never visited the Grimsby Farmers' Market put a few hours aside on a Thursday and visit. Kids, Adults and Pets always have a GREAT time. For the people who dislike Farmers' Markets then I suggest visiting the downtown the other 6 1/2 days of the week and avoid aggravating yourself.
