We hired Hysert Greens to build a 100 foot long armour stone retaining wall as part of a pool installation project last fall.
We knew we had hired a contractor who would take care of our property and take pride in the job when the equipment arrived. The mini ex and skidsteer loader were newer, clean, well maintained and properly sized for the task at hand.
With a critical eye, we watched Hysert Greens take the time to prepare the subgrade and fit/ place each rock perfectly. The armour stone wall looks like a natural bedrock shelf protruding out of the grass. We couldn't be happier!
Even a couple months after he completed the wall, Mike (the owner) stayed in close communication with us. He wanted to make sure the pool contractor maintained the integrity of his drainage system and that they would install the required filter cloth properly. In order to ensure this, Mike voluntarily came back on site the day the pool was backfilled.
Mike was professional, friendly and kind to me, but more importantly, my wife and 4 inquisitive kids during the project.
We valued Mike's pride, experience, calmness and insight for our mega project. It will be a pleasure to have him back for the next phase.
