Great Lakes Christian High School

I attended this school for grade 9-12 about 10 years ago, and really loved my experience. Being a small school, there is a strong community feel, and no students get left behind. Despite its small size, they have begun to offer many interesting courses now that I wish they had when I was there (e.g., cooking, entrepreneurship). The Christian environment really helped me to build my faith as a teenager. There are many opportunities for extra-curriculars (sports, music, drama, religion, service). The teachers and other staff all go over and above to support the students and build personal relationships with them. I found the academic classes were very good at preparing me for my university career. The school also has a residential program, mostly composed of international students, which promotes cultural diversity in the school and community. Even after you graduate, the community sense in this school is strong and it's an easy place to feel connected.

Great school, teachers and staff are very kind and caring

My son is in grade 10 there now and I have to say I am very impressed. We couldn't have asked for a better school. The teachers are great and exhibit kindness and grace while maintaining high standards.
