In March 2021 we approached "LandArt" Richard Wynia and his team to design and implement a landscape plan for our rural farm property in Fenwick. From the beginning it was very clear that this company was committed to excellent customer service and quality of product; all the various aspects that are required to create a unique landscaping project.

We had several teams including the design staff Debbie and Devon who created a beautiful plan and were very open to any requested changes or ideas. Ian and his team Frank and Joel worked tirelessly building a lovely flagstone patio and walkway plus an amazing retaining wall with large moss covered stones that look like they existed on the property for years.
They also constructed four large raised vegetable beds that we will enjoy for years to come. Our final team Carey, Darren and Evan planted all the "softscape" gardening with a great variety of shrubs, trees and perennials , again with the same professional work ethic.

The weather was brutal at times with extreme heat and high winds and all the teams worked diligently from early morning to final cleanup each day.
The project was completed on time and on budget. We highly recommend LandArt, Richard and a big thankyou to everyone involved to make our property shine.

From start to finish Rich and the LandArt team had everything under control. All involved were very professional and very passionate about giving us the best experience they could offer.

Our project was a bit of a tricky one as the backyard landscape was primarily completed by a previous contractor in 2016. Rich and the team were called in to complete the final touches, accents, plantings and an the installation of an in-ground spa.

Right from the start LandArt made the whole process easy and stress-free. From the initial consultation, to design, and finally to construction, all facets came together without a hitch. We couldn’t be more thrilled about the final outcome. The dream of our backyard oasis has finally become a reality.

From the office staff to the construction crews, care was taken to ensure our needs were met and everyone played a role in making our experience as enjoyable as possible!

We have a spacious backyard; however, it wasn’t very functional, as it sloped steeply downwards towards a forest area. Despite not having any ideas as to what we were going to do, we decided to hire Richard Wynia & the LandArt team to transform our backyard, as Richard’s experience, knowledge, and attention to detail were apparent even after our initial meeting. We told him how we would like to use the space & some vague descriptions of what we wanted to include in our backyard and from there, Richard & his team designed such an incredible transformation of the space that was both aesthetically pleasing & more importantly, functional!

The scope of the transformation required significant leveling of the ground, installation of a retaining wall, building a freestanding pavilion, masonry work to build a stone BBQ grill-enclosed counter top, a stone seating bench & firepit, flagstone walkway, and porcelain tile deck. The quality of their workmanship is top notch because they transformed our unusable backyard to a gorgeous oasis! Our backyard is now simply stunning and very serene because of the LandArt’s talented team who executed our vision beautifully!

Throughout the process, Richard & his team kept us informed on every detail of the project, they frequently asked us questions regarding our preferences and, with them being so knowledgeable, they gave us fantastic suggestions to improve our vision. We had frequent candid discussions to ensure that there were no surprises and that what they were doing matched our expectations and vision of the space. The LandArt team were all very flexible and accommodating to any last minute changes we had during the project. They would always arrive on time and worked extremely hard throughout the day. The LandArt team were very respectful to our property and before leaving each night, they cleaned up and left the work area well organized. They were diligent, professional, efficient, and more importantly, an absolute pleasure to deal with!

When we purchased our home in the summer of 2018 it was only 15 months old and we were well aware that some changes and improvements to the property were required in due course. By the spring of 2019 we reached out to LandArt.

From the first meeting and the initial proposal we were very impressed with LandArt. Having in-house design capabilities proved to be an essential component of LandArt’s business model as we made several changes along the way. The scope of the improvements to the front and side yards included a completely redesigned front entrance stairway with stone and exposed aggregate concrete and a glass balustrade, a new driveway and sidewalk with plain and exposed aggregate concrete, plantings, irrigation, sod and lighting. The scope of the improvements to the back yard included an in ground swimming pool with stone feature walls and a waterfall, a decorative screen wall, an exposed aggregate concrete pool deck, plantings, irrigation and lighting.

Throughout the design, permitting and construction phases LandArt was professional, attentive, detail oriented and accommodating. Their tradespeople from the masons to the concrete finishers to the landscapers to the pool contractor to the irrigation contractor to the electrician and to the carpenters was first rate – they were caring and respectful.

We would certainly recommended LandArt to people that are interested in quality and lasting property improvements.

Thank you Rich, Andrew and the crew for an amazing job. We are very pleased with the results. We now have a beautiful updated stone patio, new drainage, gas line to pool heater buried and lines to outdoor shower. The guys, Matte, Frank, Dave and the rest worked very hard, some days under difficult weather conditions. They were respectful, knew their job, and worked well together. Our questions and concerns were dealt with in a caring and professional manner. Rich worked with us to get us everything we wanted within our budget.
