We are so thankful for Kayla! Kayla was our doula and photographer for the birth of our son. Before the birth she walked us through the birthing process and what to expect from the experience which gave me confidence and peace. At the birth, she was so attentive to my needs and truly helped make my birthing experience wonderful. I don’t know how she was able to educate and calm me all while offering amazing pain relief AND documenting the process with amazing photographs our family will cherish forever. If you’re giving birth, she’s who you want at your side!

We were very fortunate to have Kayla as the doula for the homebirth of our son. She was very knowledgable and able to provide us with any resources we needed. Kayla was timely with responding to any questions or concerns we had and always followed through. Kayla's calm and gentle personality was very beneficial to have around before, during and after the birth . We highly recommend Kayla and her services!

We couldn't recommend Kayla in a higher regard! At the start of the Covid pandemic we decided to higher Kayla for a home birth of our first baby. At such an uncertain time while all our pre-registered birthing and baby classes were cancelled, Kayla took the time to go over everything we needed to know, everything we would have learned elsewhere, and reassured us that things would be okay.
She was available via text or call anytime we had a question about anything!
On the day of our daughters birth in May, she was a strong, encouraging, very welcome and peaceful presence in our home. She provided tools & exercises to help manage pain during contractions, and moral support for everyone.
Kayla checked in with us for the weeks to follow after our daughter was born to see how we were feeling, and managing as new parents.

I can’t say enough great things about our experience with Kayla! From the time we hired her to after my birth, she was always quick to respond, organized, knowledgeable, and so friendly.

She kept in touch with me regularly leading up to my birth which was very reassuring. She provided amazing tips and resources for my planned home birth and came prepared with a variety of comfort measures and suggestions during labour.

Everything went as I had hoped, and having Kayla there really was a huge part of my amazing birthing experience. We are also very fortunate to have had her capture this special moment, and we have the most beautiful photos to look back on and share with our daughter in the years to come.
