We had a great time on the the Magic Winery Bus visiting four of the boutique wineries in the area for tastings. The tour guide and the bus driver were very down-to-earth, genuine, friendly and helpful people. They accommodated the tour to suit our needs including staying longer at certain wineries to enjoy lunch and baked goods. They made great recommendations for both the wineries and the town of Jordan where we stayed over night. Overall a warm-hearted experience that felt more connected and different than your typical corporate wine tours.
????The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round, around Twenty Valley ???? What a great day yesterday hopping on and off the Magic Winery Bus at four wineries in the valley. After being greeted by none other than the #niagaraselfieking himself @jimirussell1111 for a few pics and provided with a six-bottle wine bag (which I had no issues filling ????????) we hopped on the classic double-decker British bus which took us to Creekside, 13th Street, Vieni and Tawse. An hour at each place was perfect (for me) even though I did miss stepping foot in the 13th Street Bakery - gives me a great excuse to go back although our bus driver Jessica was kind enough to pick up a few buttertarts for me later in the day #SKOR! At each stop you have the option of a flight tasting (which I did at most ????), sitting on the patio for food (if available) or simply walking the grounds at your leisure. All-in-all, a great way to spend a day in Twenty Valley and learning history from the knowledgeable and lovely tour guide Judith. #magicwinerybus
This was a great experience! It’s different than your conventional winery bus tour. Right from the start of the tour we were greeted by very friendly faces who were more than glad to answer any questions we had along the way. Riding on. British Double decker bus was incredible. Our tour took place on a very hot and sunny day. There’s no air conditioning but we didn’t mind as the bus windows are set up in such a way that lets in a nice cross breeze. The bus was cool at all times compared to outside. Our tour included 4 stops to boutique wineries. Our first stop was Red Stone. Since we hadn’t been there before we decided to stay for lunch. That’s the beauty about this tour bus. It runs in a continuous one-hour loop all day. So there’s no pressure to get back on the bus and you can explore the wineries at your leisure. We had a great time at Red Stone and 3 hours later we boarded the bus back to the next stop. We loved being able to hop in and out at the different stops. In a way we made our own custom tour. At each winery we were greeted by amazing hosts and the sampling’s were more than generous. Along the way the tour bus operator gave us nice facts about the region, the wineries and wine. We have lived in Niagara most of our lives and it we learn a lot of great things and facts about our beautiful region. We will definitely be back and try the other wineries. Heck, the price of the tour it’s so good we will take it just to visit our favourite wineries.
