Hornblower Niagara Funicular

It was a fun experience to see the falls up close. We took the funicular down the boat area, and before boarding, you have the option of a group photo (We skip it), there is a lounge area with live music and drinks to purchase (we skip too). We just want it to see the falls.???? at first, I took a couple of pictures, you know for social media, but when you see the falls that close, I ended up putting my phone away and take it all in

Went on the full mist tour. Definitely take a rain jacket and either water shoes or sandals as out runners were soaking wet and the ponchos the gave us were short sleeved so we got a good shower. Take a waterproof camera or a phone case as the view is breathtaking and they take you right into the falls. Avoid glasses if you can as they obstruct your view once you get them wet from the falls

Amazing overall experience! The process was super smooth. Bought tickets online and then everything was a breeze with the barcode. The funicular is a pretty sweet concept using the trams to take you up and down. A must visit!
Pro tip: I would recommend you to stand at the front right of the boat on the top deck, gives you the best views because the boat will be making a left turn so you get to experience head on force of the waterfall once they take you to the horseshoe falls.

Fun is part of the name on purpose. The hornblower puts the fun in funicular.

The Niagara Falls is fantastic to see from the basin below. It was a hot and muggy day so the mist from the falls felt great!
The lines were long, and there is a lot of walking just to get down to the boat.
The boat goes right past the smaller American falls which are really pretty. They don’t get the glory though.
The smaller falls probably have inferiority complex from this. So be nice and take a photo
