Host is lovely. Bird watching paradise.
Jodie who runs the b&b is the sweetest and most soft spoken person, the rooms are clean, comfortable, cozy and very beautifully decorated, with a fireplace in each of the rooms. She makes the most delicious home made biscuits and breads that she serves along with breakfast which is brought to your room in a picnic basket. We have stayed with her twice and we will keep coming back ! Already planning our next trip.
An excellent B&B located just outside Niagara-on-the-Lake. We have been going for nine years every August for our wedding anniversary. Next year will be our 25th! Thoroughly recommended.
Do not look any further. Jodie and her family are the consummate hosts. They were so pleasant and eager to help with directions, recommendations and accommodating of any and all of our requests.
Their Bed and Breakfast is truly beautiful. The bedroom (Lewis) was large, bigger than most one bedroom apartments here in Toronto, and the bed was very comfortable. A large private sitting room attached had a full size sofa and comfortable chair, a kitchenette and a pretty private bath with a super comfortable claw and ball bathtub to relax in. Finally our own screened in porch with a view of the gardens and woods behind. The condition of the rooms and furniture was pristine as though were were their first ever guests.
Breakfast? Don't even get us started. Everything home baked and home squeezed. Even the eggs came from their own chickens which were so much fun to watch. We are big eaters and and didn't need lunch that day.
This is the kind of B and B that you plan your trip around. We will be back.....Often.
Our recent stay at Bushy House was amazing. Jodie and David are awesome hosts and they have put in a lot of thought, love, and effort into this B&B. Highlight of our stay was waking up to birds chirping and the smell of Jodie's freshly baked, to die for, sour dough orange scones! We will definitely be back for more!
