The stars of the show were the wines. Some really neat wines, especially the Foch.

Such a nice winery! It has a cute little restaurant with delicious food and complimentary tastings if you’re staying for lunch. Their wine is amazing, with the plum wine being one of my personal favourites.

I came here initially as part of a tour. Of the 4 wineries we visited that day, this was by far my favorite. They have some of the best wines in the Niagara Region in my opinion. We were told the food was good, so we went back the next day. Good was very much an understatement. The food was excellent. I also highly recommend dessert. The staff is very friendly, the prices are nice, the food is excellent, and you can taste the love in the wine as well as the varietals and and the terroir. You need to try this place.

Caroline Cellars is one of my favourite buildings of the Niagara wineries- very rustic feeling. I did not have a wine there that I didn't like! My favourite however was probably their cranberry fruit wine. My friend really enjoys their 'Farmer's Riesling'. Aside from their wines, Caroline Cellars also makes very good food with big portions. There were 4 of us eating that day. We were seated right away, and they provided a high chair for the baby in our group. I'll definitely be going to Caroline's again for the wine and the food. :-)
