This place is amazing. My mil in her mid-90's survived Covid, but the virus made her dementia much worse. We were so lucky to get her a place at Pioneer Eldercare. There are only 10 residents per home, and the staff all have extensive training on caring for people with dementia. Everyone there is neat and clean, they're happy. It's a very bright and cheery place, and the staff are incredibly supportive.

Pioneer elder care provided excellent care to my father who had advanced dementia. They were compassionate and empathetic and were able to competently care for all of his care needs. I would highly recommend them.

Our mother has been at Pioneer for 18 months and has received exemplary care. We are so grateful to everyone at St Helena St including the PSWs, nurses, cleaners, maintenance staff and activities coordinator for their dedication to all of the residents especially during the pandemic. We look forward to the day that we can see our mother again in person, but we know that in the meantime, she is being cared for by staff as is she were family. We also commend the management team for locking the home down early in the pandemic and keeping all the residents safe.

My mom has been a resident at Pioneer Elder Care lakeshore location for the past 3 years and I just cannot say enough about the great care she is getting. All the staff are just amazingly caring and so loving towards all the residents there. I am sure it’s because of that care and love they give my mom that’s the reason she is still with us today. During this Covid-19 pandemic I am not able to visit but the staff are always willing to do video calls and gives weekly updates on mom’s health. All their homes are Covid-19 free and I am assured that she is well cared for and safe. Thank you all for your great service to our loved ones.
