(February 11, 2018, 5:42 pm)The people that leave 1 star or say "Karla Homolka school" are seriously here to troll and are dense... This school is great, especially now that Poppy Gilliam has taken over. My son is special needs (mild autism), and they really care about him and have been very real about everything. I can tell a lot of parents whose children go to Ferndale are the type that can't wait to leave the yard so they can light up a dart and scream at their kids, so yes, they might leave one star because the teachers are very good and might call out poor parenting. This school is amazing for extras, and they have pizza every Friday. Just a great safe community based school.
