Rizzo's House of Parm

I've only flipped through Matty's cookbooks but my partner is a huge fan of his food. I was pleased to book his birthday dinner there. We live just over an hour an a half away and it was absolutely well worth the drive.
The atmosphere in there is just the beginning. The food was so incredible I don't think we said a word to each other until we were finished eating.
I also think it's important to note that our server Stephannie was incredible. She took amazing care of us and was just super personable. The table next to us had some issues (really funny actually, didn't like anchovies and picked a dish with anchovies). I witnessed the most grace an professionalism handling the feedback from the guest about listing ingredients on the menu (which they are, obviously).
Literally cannot wait to go back!!!

Food was amazing, huge portions but sadly the popular choice for house wine and the tiramisu were sold out but the substitutions were nice. The place looked great but the chairs and benches were very uncomfortable especially for my older parents. Also there was nothing to absorb sound so was very hard for my hearing impaired father to hear our server or us over the sea of voices all talking at once. A true cacophony.

Love a smaller menus and quality picks! The portions are great the food is your perfect Italian food worth the drive from Hamilton we will be back for sure. Our server was awesome and had the best laugh it was contagious lol.

We had an absolutely fabulous experience! The staff was very friendly and the food was stunning. Rizzo's is a testament to "simplicity is key". We visited on their second night of service and are so thrilled to have a new local spot to visit.

We ordered two Parm plates (veal + eggplant), fried mozzarella sticks, sweet and hot marinated peppers, and the tiramisu to finish off. Everything came out in a timely manner, and was incredibly fresh.

With a dining room that seats about 50 guests, I highly recommend making reservations on open table.

Everything we ate here was on point. Highly recommend!! Calamari, fantastic flavor, great dipping sauces. Antipasti fantastic. Veal parm really wonderful. Quality of ingredients really shined on all of the dishes. Wish I didn’t live 400 miles away!
