Really impressed by the work and service ? ?
Very knowledgable, great service, on time and professional. Was having a difficult time trying to find a reputable shop to serivce my diesel suburban...I think I may have found one. Thanks for the great service.
One of the best mechanics I've ever been to and honest, we drive over 1h to get our vehicles serviced at John's Bug Shop! Awesome staff and service
John's Bug Shop was a Welland mainstay for 25 years and John and his family put on their Jitterbug VW Show in Niagara Falls every summer for many years. John is facing some serious health issues now so the Bug Shop has passed into Welland and into VW history. He is wished all the best.
Circumstances with a failing automatic sealed transmission of a German built car (which shall remain nameless) brought me to JBS to see if the transmission could be salvaged, as the OEM wasn't interested unless I bought a new transmission. YOWZA! Got a very honest answer here. Not what I wanted to hear, I had faint hopes of an unknown miracle fix, but very sincere without any games. Ever since, I've returned for service on a variety of vehicles from valve lashing on a Saturn V6 (which got it back to factory condition) to fixing something as simple as an errant GM key fob, with a turbocharger oil feed tube replacement instead of a complete turbo-charger assembly in-between. John's Bug Shop (entire staff) treats me like family that I can trust: no games, no surprises, just honest integrity in their work and value in services rendered. It is a bit of a hike for me to get there from Fort Erie to Welland, but without hesitation an auto-service shop where a handshake still means something. It is a two-way street folks, they get the utmost of consideration from me and I get the same back in kind.
