(March 17, 2019, 7:19 pm)I am not one to normally write reviews but I thought Akal Optical and their staff deserve praise for a job well done.
I must admit, as an Asian male I normally buy my frames at Pmall/Market Village but I thought I would give Akal at 60 Lacoste a chance given that a buddy of mine at work had bought new frames from them and mentioned that their selection/pricing was good. That and the service is normally terrible at my typical go to places. Checked the reviews online and I was sold.
From start to finish I was greeted and treated like an individual where my business mattered. I'm not kidding here, it's noticeable enough for me to put it in a review. I was extremely picky with my frames yet despite how busy the store was I was told to take my time and never felt rushed. The owners and their staff get it, truly friendly people and their pricing, selection and quality of their frames rival any of the top tier optical stores. If you're in the market for frames, I think it's worth the trip to Akal in Brampton. Truly an amazing family run business in it for the long haul. Way to go guys and thank you for your help!

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent quality sunglasses, frames or lenses and great customer service.

Quality and selection of sunglasses and glass is wonderful. New styles and brands to cater everyone’s taste. Will defiantly recommend to others and will be coming here in the future.
(October 19, 2018, 7:57 pm)Very friendly and professional staff with amazing selection of frames. They helped me find the right fit and best lenses for my face. I will be going back any time I need a new pair or glasses and for my yearly eye exam.
