I have been going to Carabram on and off since 1987. It's a great way to experience Brampton's diverse cultural mosaic. For only $10 you get a chance to sample exotic foods, enjoy spectacular entertainment and discover why these people are so proud of their cultures.
I've attended for years and love that Brampton has this festival. It's the most fun way to see the cultures that call our city home.
Carabram has been a tradition in our family for many years and it's so exciting to have that opportunity to travel around the world on a week-end. We've been wow' d by Dragon Dancers, Hawaian Dancers, Mariachis, Punjab Performances and bright colours and the food... oh my don't get me started on the food. Absolutely delicious. Tacos, Butter Chicken, Portuguese delicacies and some proud Canadian traditional foods.... Absolutely fantastic. Make sure you try out all the countries. Everybody is different and there will be some locations that you may like much more than others. I saw some of the reviews that others have posted and that's unfortunate that they feel that way. As a spectator and even having had some friends perform for some shows, nobody complained and had an excellent experience. With the President of Carabram and the Carabram Committee they are souly dedicated to ensure that each pavilion has the full support needed for a successful festival experience. At the end of the day it's all about timing sometimes. Certain shows happening at particular times. Just make sure you look into the schedule, bring your camera and the appetite;) Can't go wrong with Carabram;)
