(August 9, 2018, 9:55 am)This is a very wonderful Portuguese Roman Catholic Church with daily confession and mass in Portuguese. English mass on Sundays around 10am. The best thing is the practice of the venaration or devotion to Santo Christe from the islands of the Azores. A must see procession happens yearly here in surrounding area around the church and a novena during the time preceding the feast day. Beautifully unique church with striking statues of popular Catholic saints. There is also a banquet hall under the church for gatherings,galas and reception after weddings. If you enjoy traditional Portuguese culture especially from the Azores this is a place to see. Also great for earnest Roman Catholics seeking to excell in faith and devotion.
