THE SECURITY OFFICER INSIDE THE TEST CENTER WAS VERY ABUSIVE AND MANNERLESS.THEY SPEAK IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGE.

Always got a large crowd of test takers. (guess that's down to the population of Brampton residents seeking to obtain their licence.) Except for those who are booked in at a particular time slot for road driving test, You must arrive between 5am - 5:30am to be among the 1st 10 persons on the queue which stretches to round the building block. No shelter either so plan your protection from the weather. Those who fail in the knowledge written test, have to go back outside and join the queue to retake the test or return some other time.

My overall experience at this drive test branch was pleasant. Did my G2 test here and passed. (Read my review on Step In Driving School). I went straight to the front of the line to register for my G2. The lady at the front door was very pleasant, she showed me where I had to go. The person who took my info behind the desk was also pleasant. I waited about 35 minutes for the instructor to come to the car even having an appointment schedule. As long as you are prepared for driving you will pass (I did!!) Without the nerves. Good preparation means a higher likelihood of passing. So then there's nothing to be nervous about. The test is straightforward. Use of signals, 3 point turn, parallel parking between the cones. On the actual route your speed, observing signs, uphill or downhill parking, right turns or left turns at traffic lights, how you change lanes, remember to wait for pedestrians. Returning to the drive test yard just a forward parking. And you're done!

I had a great examiner who was friendly and helpful. The staff in the centre were also great, even though it was very busy. I got to do my test on time and didn't have to wait too long in the car. I was extremely nervous, but this was way better than I expected.

Key points to remember when doing a G2 here:
    * Park in a designated spot and keep your mask on in the car.
    * Go straight to the front and ask before standing in any queue.
    * Parallel parking here is between two cones. Practice helps as it is a bit different from parking behind a car on the street. We went to a quiet parking lot and placed a makeshift cone to practice.
    * The test route was fairly simple. Make sure to note flashing lights which reduces the speed limit to 40.
    * I would recommend getting an instructor to give you a refresher course before you go. If you can't get an instructor to go through the route with you, there are a couple of videos online that you can watch to become familiar with the area.
    * If you need a washroom, the home depot in the plaza is always open and clean!

This commendation is for Carlene. I showed up during the afternoon. One of the busiest times. The line up was long and sun was scorching. She not only helped me but was doing her best to get the entire line moving quicker. Whether it was helping people print the right ticket at the kiosk or pointing them to the right counter for their needs, she was doing it all while keeping a cool attitude in a stressful workplace. Thanks again Carlene

Went for my G2 test today. They were extremely busy as almost all the parking spots were full. But the examiner Vikram was on time and very very Polite. I was a little nervous but he was very chill and asked me to relax and lighten the mode. The staff itself was very polite and friendly. They are humans too and have bad days just like us. My experience was totally opposite to the reviews I read on Google. They were helpful. There was long line for people why were trying to get their G1 and then a short line for the people who were there for the G2 road test. After passing I went in the center to get my temporary license. The lady at the counter was very polite and explained me a ll the stuff. 10/10
