Hakka Wakka Restaurant

If there was a 10 Star this place would have it... I heard about this restaurant 2 days ago and we were craving the triple ... been a while since I’ve been to India and have been looking for it all these years- both in NYC and in Toronto...so just knowing it was available and it was good.... was a blessing.

Firstly... once we picked up the food and were on our way home, I could close my eyes and sense the aromas from the streets of Bombay... reminded me of all those years long gone...

Reach home and one look at the Hakka noodles was enough to know that it was the real thing.. bit into the deliciousness and yes it was... the triple was straight off the ‘tapri’ and having said that, the portions are massive! The rice was perfection- not over cooked, could be separated and wasn’t mushy.... These guys haven’t skimped on taste nor quality... wasn’t oily either...

You can pick your spice levels, we picked ‘medium’ :- was perfect for the husband.

Totally worth makin the trek to Brampton! So glad I found these guys... this is where I’m gonna cater from for all my future work events post Covid-19.

So yea kudos to the chefs and the owner of the restaurant who brought back not just my Bombay but also my Andheri!!!

Question: would it be an option to look into offering half portions if it works from a business perspective, so that we can order more dishes ...

By far the best Hakka Chinese restaurant in Brampton. No more driving to Toronto for hakka Chinese. Everything including ingredients is made fresh. The soup, appetizers, main course everything was DELICIOUS. The quality and quantity are both great. I just placed my 3rd order in last 10 days. Keep doing what you guys are doing and good luck with your business.

Be prepared to have a flavorful smack in the face!! Large portions and delicious veggies hug you after each bite. I have to recommend the Gobi Cauliflower Gravy and the Singapore Chicken Fried Rice. I have a severe nut/peanut allergy and the staff are SUPER accommodating ensuring me I wouldn't have any cross contamination!! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Thank you so much! I will be coming back soon!

My Hakka Wakka experience: The place is very clean and nice. A good parking spot right in front of the restaurant.

The staff is warm and welcoming I felt at home and the variety of the dishes made me travel despite the Covid-19, the staff have us some good advice and helped peak our dishes with patience and care.

The food was ready a short time after we ordered.

The food was AMAZING I love the different mix I had the chicken gravy with Caribbean rice and honey garlic potato. It was tasty and spicy!

I recommend it!!

This is not the usual greasy, one dimensional hakka joint. The food here is fresh and packed with so much flavor. Ordered take out and food was ready within reasonable time. Prices are fair and portions are generous. For 3 adults we ordered 3 entrees and a poutine and there was plenty of food (chili calamari, red dragon chicken, shrimp manchurian rice). Also got a small wonton soup - best ever. Will definitely be eating here again.

One small suggestion - please add descriptions to the online menu items as some of the items have nondescript names.
