Kumon Math & Reading Centre

I have been going to this Kumon Centre for 6 years now and I've grown so much as a learner since. Cathy and the staff are helpful and supportive of my work and making sure I understand the concept. With this help, I am to apply my knowledge at school in my work, which helps me understand and work better. Currently, I am in Grade 8 and doing Level L worksheets, which is way beyond my grade curriculum. This shows that Kumon has helped me in multiple ways, including reaching goals that I wouldn't have ever thought of. I have been a J by 6 achiever in Math and on my way to complete the program!

I have been going to Kumon for 7 years now and I don't know what I would do without it. I have learned so much and it really shows in my academic grades at school. The knowledge I have gained from Kumon, I have applied it in school, especially in Math and Reading. I am currently in Grade 10 but I am doing worksheets at Kumon that are beyond my grade level. Kumon is not only a center where you learn about Math and Reading, they also take their time to make sure that everyone feels safe and welcome. Cathy and the staff are very friendly, they help you when you are having any difficulties in any area. They always update their information board every month in the waiting room and add students’ birthdays to make them feel special. They even recognize students for other awards and accomplishments that they get outside of Kumon as they did for me. They put my acceptance to a summer camp from Air Cadets on the board, this goes to show how much they care about their students. Kumon uses repetition to help students understand the concepts that they are being taught and because of this I have excellent mental math skills which benefit me in my everyday life. I have completed the Reading Program and I am aiming high to finish the Math Program as well.

While being a student at Kumon Ebenezer for the past 8 years, I have seen such great improvement in my academics with the skills I've learned. Kumon has helped me understand many new concepts through which I was able to apply to high school courses. I am currently a grade 11 student that's doing Level L work which is grade 12 advanced functions and calculus. This has helped me achieve higher standards that I never thought would be possible. With also having 3 other siblings at Kumon, we have all benefited in many ways thanks to Cathy. My little brother has struggled through school in regards to his mental math skills. Kumon has helped him improve over the past few years by constantly repeating the same concepts to ensure he’s comfortable in applying those in higher level questions. Kumon has been an amazing experience and I hope to complete both the Reading and Math program one day.

I wanted to wait and give some time before I review Kumon Ebenezer. However, I feel the need to let you know that parents are observing. It is important to be mindful of your expressions when working with kids. A pleasant face is always received in a positive way.

I don't normally write reviews but my experience here definitely warranted one. My niece was having trouble with some of her school work. Of course as a good uncle I tried to help her, but sometimes its always better having a third party. Kumon to the rescue! They helped her in any and all of her classes. Both her and I loved the people there which makes a big difference, she received amazing tutoring and I was given the confidence that my niece was in trustworthy hands. Since she started, her marks have went up, her confidence in class has increased, and she loves going to school! This location specifically has amazing people that are so friendly and great with the students.Thanks so much Kumon, you guys have made such difference!!
