Main Street Medical Center

I have had a good experience with this clinic during my interaction with them over the past 6 months. The staff is patient and friendly. Wait time during walk-in may be long depending on when you come in. I found my family doctor here and have also done sessions with the physiotherapist and chiropractor. All doctors I have interacted with were attentive, always took the time to answer any questions and maintained an open and friendly demeanour.

Dr Hurdle has been my family doctor for over 10 years. She is very kind and always helpful. She really cares about her patients and does her best to make sure they are satisfied. Recently, she has cut down her hours and we have been forced to wait weeks for appointments or book appointments with another doctor. I had an urgent situation and chose to book an appointment with Dr. Shah. I was not satisfied with his advice at all, as he did not take my situation seriously and gave the same advice as a walk in doctor did a few days ago. My pain occurred due to a mistake from the doctors who prescribed a medication for too long. I know my situation could get serious but Dr. Shah denied the link between the medication and my situation and forced me to wait longer to see if the pain went away, even though i waited all week as per the walk in doctors advice, and the pain did not go away.

After reading some of these ridiculous and negative reviews I felt I had to voice my opinion and give a clear review from my experience going to Main Street Medical.

I have been going to this clinic for over 10 and have always found the administrative staff, nurses and doctors to be welcoming and professional even though the patients in the waiting room at times can be extremely rude and challenging towards them. I have witnessed people trying everything to get ahead of other patients and harassing the administrative staff many times and then come on here and complain because they cannot comply to every demand! We are all there because we need medical attention your need to see a doctor is no greater than anyone else in the room and if by chance it is then you need to go to the hospital emergency!

People need to understand that the receptionists are not in control of how long patients are in the room with the doctor they are not making you wait on purpose!

I would not hesitate to recommend this clinic! Keep in mind it is a medical clinic not an urgent care center.
