Nilo and Faiza did a fantastic job in getting me ready for my milad event. Everyone loved the look. They both were extremely professional, patient, calm and attentive to my needs. Nilo is the best makeup artist anyone can ask for her wedding. I am a bit late in posting this review, but here I am. She is not only a good makeup artist, but she is such a gentle soul. I am in too much aww with her personality, aura, and skills. I found Nilo through my friend's reference and was a bit nervous about contacting her by knowing that she is such a big personality in the makeup world. But I was wrong. When I met her, she was too gentle and understanding that booked her for my wedding on the spot. My wedding day was a bit chaotic on a personal and emotional level, but she made sure that everything is on the mark. Even though I was just a client for her, but the way she treated me on that day was nothing less than my own elder sister. Yes, it sounds a bit too much, but this is my genuine feeling. She and her team (Derek and Sharron) turned my day into the fairytale by pulling two completely different and beautiful looks on the same day. I have not enough words to express my feelings to thank them properly. Give Nilo and her team their own space, and they will spell their magic to bring the best out of you.

This was my first experience with Nilo, for my walima, and I will definitely want her for my next event. She took such great care for my comfort and preferences. Her artistic instinct is great and she took a holistic approach in creating an amazing makeup look, taking everything from my dress to features into account. The hairstylist was just as good, and had no problems incorporating my jewellery and headpiece in a way that fit in with the overall look. They were both very nice to boot and created a pleasant atmosphere in the studio. I have gone to other artists who have been tense and closed off on an already stressful day, so I really appreciated her doing everything to make this a comfortable experience. I would definitely recommend her.

My experience with Nilo Haq was super beneficial. I attended Nilo's self grooming classes in September 2014. I had literally zero makeup skills and after attending the sessions my makeup game changed. The class was so informative, she covered everything from skin prep to basics of makeup applications to glam looks plus the cherry on top was a shopping trip to Mac store with the guru herself along with 20% off. I do minimal makeup yet I get compliments very often regarding it. I would 100% recommend Nilo to everyone out there who are aspiring to learn makeup. She is extremely friendly and humble.
