Great place to bring your child to. The teachers are great. Receptionist is friendly and always willing to answer any questions I might have. So far so good..I will update in a few months.

Ontario Conservatory of Music is an amazing place for your child's skills to be nurtured and developed. They have experienced and talented teachers who put their heart and soul to help children learn Music. My daughter, 6 years , has been going there for almost three months, learning piano/keyboard and she is really enjoying and doing well. Thanks to her teacher and supervisor IRA. I would recommend this place if you are looking for some good music learning institute.

I personally studied with the Ontario Conservatory of Music for 15 years and I enjoyed every moment of it. I am now a Classical Piano major at McMaster University and I am giving credit to the teachers at the conservatory for that. From my experiences you get what ever you put in as a student. I was very involved with making sure I was on top of the class and performed in front of an audience at every chance I got.

Although some people are not a fan of group lessons, I personally enjoyed it because it allowed me as a musician to not develop early stages of performance anxiety(yes it's a real thing). Being able to play in front of other students that are working on the same pieces as you not only gives you confidence but also motivates you to do better. If one of your peers plays a little faster than you then that will push you to work harder for the next week.

Concluding, I feel that like every place the conservatory needs to fix some things but other than that the intentions of the teachers are positive.
