    Reflection
Today as I reflect on Matthew 21: 21-22, we can safely say our mountain has been removed, and has been cast into the sea, with out a doubt. Reason be, our faith has made us whole and the reason for that is The Family Life Resource Center and the staff members, the director Mrs. Marilyn Field, the late assistant director Ms. Lynn Murray, who was, and is my personal counsellor to this day, the crisis counsellor’s, intake workers and the other staff members. Due to the marvellous work that the do at the center, it has gotten us through the crisis we had to endure.

We are grateful and full of gratitude, for the sustainability we have received over the years from they staff members. They who put their life on the line for many on daily, for the work that they do, is not comprehensible to most, unless you walk a mile in their shoes, you would not understand the obstacle’s that they can sometimes face in that environment. Therefore, no amount of words can not express our gratitude.
Empowerment, is there member one focus towards the women, and children, at the center. So, therefore; empowered we became. That realization has driven us to do the same over the years. So, now we are all in different fields that are empowering, where we are vocal about abuse, and what is that love meant to be like. Through what we have experience over the years.
We have become driven, because of their passion, it became contagious to us. We must acknowledge that we have learned from the best, they became our earthly angels, through our experience, taking us under yours wings, and giving us our own wings to fly, and being able to give us not just hope, but also a clear incite, of a life and future that is filled with awe. So, we must act knowledge their work, and their mission. Which has also become ours’s in this life that is given to us. We thank our God, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy spirit; for the opportunity of meeting every one of them in our time of need.
It was in October,1999 when we met the beloved staff at FLRC, afraid and unsure of our future. Unable to conceived what’s in store, out of fear and anxiety, which was part of our healing process, as I now reflect with a huge smile. The reason for the smile, is that with out their support, and the sustainability of every staff member that has contributed to FLRC, and to our wellbeing, we for sure would have been long lost, and possibility would not have survived the abused, that was inflicted upon this family.
Therefore, we sincerely thank them all, for a job well done. As we continue to pray for their wellbeing, insight, and guidance for this work that they all have chosen to serve in. Love and respect to all of them for services render over the years. What a positive reflection they all reflect, to our world and mostly for the sake of human unity.
