Sawmill Structures

I’m not sure how all these customers are getting in touch with the company. I called and asked about getting a kit by the end of June. I was told that there was 1 that could be manufactured in time. It was slightly more expensive than the one we were going to purchase, but we went ahead and put the deposit down to order. Now we are at the week it is supposed to be delivered and we hadn’t heard from anyone. When we finally got an email back we were told the original $1770 delivery fee was now $3400 and we would have to arrange to have a forklift on-site. That was 2 days ago. No further response to our email questioning this and no response to voicemails (because we cannot get a live person on either the sales or logistics line). At this point we are now in a bind with a place to live next month while we finish a build and we are out almost 10k deposit with no cabin.

Edited: they did finally contact us and since then we have had consistent communication. We were able to find a business that would use their forklift to offload the kit onto our trailer, and sawmill arranged delivery to that business at the originally quoted price. In the end, it cost us an extra $120 and half a day of our own transport. This was acceptable to us. Had we experienced this service from the beginning I would have rated the experience much higher.

We purchased two SD with Loft bunkies this year and absolutely love them. One owner, Chris, was great to work with while we completed our research and chose Sawmill Structures. Mark dropped off two pallets at our tree farm in April and navigated his skid steer through our treed property with ease. Sergey and his building crew showed up one morning in May to start building the bunkies, and by the end of the day, had two beautiful and very solid structures built. We camped in them the next night and repeated that activity with friends and family right to the end of October. As owners of a Christmas Tree Farm, we used one bunkie as an office and the other as a showroom during November and December. All of our customers loved them and we loved showing them off. I could have been the best representative for Sawmill Structures because I encouraged many customers to check their website to view the many products. Thank you Sawmill Structures. We are off to show them to friends from British Columbia and Bahamas later today.

What an amazing experience working with Chris, Serg and team! They worked with my tight schedule and completed the job beyond expectations! I have been using the bunkie all summer and just love it- it’s so nice and warm when it’s cold outside, we’ve been in it through a few summer storms and felt very comfortable and protected. We hooked up electricity very easily and it’s quite spacious for its footprint! The loft is big enough to fit 2 XL Disco-Beds with space to spare! It’s just perfect - I would highly recommend going with Sawmill structures- they won’t disappoint!

My Hillcrest Loft Double Door Sawmill Bunkie is amazing! Sawmill's excellent customer service and installation crew are fantastic! The construction is beautiful and the materials used are top notch. It has natural light on four sides and double doors that open wide making it feel very spacious. The queen bed and extra storage space in the loft is wonderful too. I stained mine and had their suggested roofing installed ensuring my bunkie will have a protected and very long life.
I highly recommend this and all Sawmill Structures products.
