TEAM Shutout Goalie School

Team Shutout was the very first goalie training company our son attended when he was in Novice about 10 years ago. They instilled in him a love for the position and created a work-hard ethic in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

For various reasons throughout the years, we joined other goalie trainers and HP Programs, but coming back to Team Shutout has been the best move for our son. They provide a true HP Program, which is a refreshing experience. At the start, Moe outlined in detail what we should expect and he has delivered 100% on his word. All the qualified instructors care about our son's development. Each instructor knows the program inside and out and they provide high-quality training.

Thanks to Team Shutout, our son has greatly improved technically and mentally. But even more importantly, they continue to create a work-hard ethic in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere just as they did 10 years ago. And our son is loving the game again.

This was our second year attending the full day goalie camps over the holidays. He has loved every minute of it and looks forward to the weekly sessions as well! Team Shutout's Varsity location's knowledgeable and capable goalie coaches (Moe, Richard) have made it possible for my son to go from beginner house league to Single A in 2 years of hockey! This is what my boy wanted and he received the right amount of support to push him to work very hard to achieve this. From what I know of the team at Team Shutout goalie school, I'm confident and looking forward to them providing guidance to my son to reach new skill levels and go up the levels in the coming years.

What sets the team apart from other goalie schools I have seen, is the level of detail, patience, dedication, and passion from Coach Richard which comes through each AND every training session. My son loves going to the classes whether we are talking about the skills and drills program, level up program or the winter camps.

Coach Richard has made himself available in the level up to support my son's pre-game prep. Through the modules in the level up program my son has started to understand the mental side of the right prep routine and ion general the goalie mentality be it through the "Moe"motivations from Coach Moe's modules or the pre-game phone calls. It's reassuring to know as a goalie dad, that the coaching doesn't end after the hour long training session. The guys are there to answer any questions that you might have during the long season to make for an amazing training journey. 5 stars for sure for Team Shutout.

My son Elias (2006) looked forward to every session with Team Shutout. Richard's enthusiasm pumped Elias up every time and Joe's patience describing techniques, on a one on one basis, gave Elias the attention he needed. These two trainers made a great team both with their own unique teaching style. My son looked forward to Team Shutout sessions even more than games... and more important he did improve, having more shutouts this season, than he ever had before! Championship here we come!
And another thing... Team Shutout was very accommodating with our schedule. Having sessions available from Mon to Thur made things very easy for us.
