(April 28, 2022, 1:34 pm)As a 2nd generation member of the UA, I have been exposed to the unionized lifestyle for the majority of my life and often find myself having conversations with others about the benefits of joining the brotherhood. First and foremost is the training provided by the Joint Training & Apprenticeship Committee which truthfully is second to none. Secondly is the opportunity to be exposed to many sectors of the HVACR trade & Contractors (ORAC) that aren’t necessarily easy to get into outside of the union. Last but not least is the compensation, benefits & pension, which allow a very comfortable lifestyle. Joining the UA is the best thing I ever did for my career.
