Ray's 3rd Generation

The service, the live music, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. What a gem of a restaurant. If you're in the area definitely pop by. A few minute drive from the Millcroft Inn, you can walk back if needed. The salmon was delicious, the recommendations of food and wine were great from the servers. We went with a group of 18 with advance notice, the event went absolutely perfect. Thank you very much to the staff at 3rd gen bistro for making it a special evening!

An absolute gem. Everything is delicious. Though options are plentiful the paradox of choice does not apply here; anything you choose is sure to please. Also a wonderful little bakery with quick to-go options.

Food is AMAZING and the staff is even better. If your in the area you must try !!!!

Many things have changed during my 28 years in Alton, but not the incredible cookies at Ray's, they still taste the exact same as they did when I was a child, and it takes me back every time. What HAS changed at Ray's, is they now a large lunch and dinner menu, all of which that I've tried has been amazing. They also have a very cozy (but small) restaurant environment, and an Llbo license. It's definitely on the expensive side, but good food is rarely cheap.

Probably one of the BEST meals I've ever eaten. And the cheesecake was divine! The service was fabulous and we enjoyed the live entertainment as well. I would love to go back for ANY occasion. Highly recommend!
