Good place for ice cream

Home-made ice creams are one of the best one can have at this store. Multiple varieties exquisite ice creams are made and sold at low prices. Thick and rich ice creams make you feel, you want to have more.
2 big scoops at less than $5, not too sweet.
Snacks and light food is also available here. Service is fast, patient and friendly staff.
Kids and seniors all loved the ice cream and want to go back for more.

A little stingy with the coffee. Should have asked for the to-go cup. Also with the icecream. $4.5 doesn't get you much, even from the owner herself. If you go, go on the weekend, its much better staffed. During the week days the owner runs around trying to do everything herself. You'll just have to wait a bit longer.

Had a sandwich for lunch - Brisket on Sourdough. Wow , was it good !
My wife had the Chicken with Brie - loved it ! Now these are old time sandwiches - very generous . You won't need supper .
The staff were so friendly , the cook so approachable , the historic ambiance so much fun .
Maybe we hit a good day but this is a must attend for any outing at The Forks .

It is NOT permanently closed. Beautiful place to have a break from local sight seeing. Best coffee around. Delicious pastries and sandwiches. Try almond croissants. Or sweet potato pie. Or blackberry lavender scone. Young women behind the counter are super friendly. Enjoy front porch view of village square. Don't forget to pick local authored books on hidden gems. Highly recommend.
